Web services are provided using the Apache-SSL web server. This open
source web server uses OpenSSL for secure web traffic.
Email is provided using sendmail, POP3 and IMAP servers. Secure
logins are supported using secure shell (ssh). Data transfers can
be performed using ftp or secure copy (scp).
Special scripts to compute web site statistics by user and similar
user services are written in Perl and run using cron scheduling.
HTML pre-processing is done with a custom Perl script that processes
WEB files into HTML files.
